Betül Tuncer

Hi I’m Betül Tuncer! I’m a journalist based in Washington, D.C. I work as a news associate for CNN’s D.C. bureau where I help production, breaking news and newsgathering teams. Previously, I’ve worked at news outlets in Pittsburgh including 90.5 WESA, the Pittsburgh Media Partnership and PublicSource, a non-profit investigative paper. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh where I double majored in Media and Professional Communications and Legal Studies, minored in Museum Studies and earned a Digital Media certificate. While in university, I worked for my student paper, The Pitt News, and took on the role of Editor-in-Chief my senior year.
